Powergrip hose clips have low free torque to allow the screw to move freely during assembly under a torque of less than 1.5 Nm.High tightening torque! The British Standard also requires clamps to be capable of withstanding high tightening torques. This ensures that "Powergrip" clips may be safely applied without fear of damage to hoses through over-tightening.Hydraulic pressure test - BS5315:1991 also specifies hydraulic pressure tests to which "Powergrip" are subjected during normal production testing.
